I’m the founder of Forward Excel Training & Design, a business shaped by my work as a writer, educator, and leader. I’ve spent 28 years writing, 16 years teaching, and 13 years leading academic departments. Along the way, one thing has remained clear: writing and communication are often at the center of both the challenges people face and the solutions they need.
My background includes teaching college-level writing, public speaking, interpersonal communication, and intercultural communication. I also work with instructors through coaching, onboarding, and course design, helping them build stronger learning experiences in both in-person and digital environments. I care deeply about clear communication, effective teaching, and creating spaces where people can truly thrive.
Through Forward Excel Training & Design, I partner with clients to create workplace solutions that strengthen communication, improve learning outcomes, and support greater impact. My experience in writing and editing spans in journalism, academia, and entrepreneurship, which allow me to bring both structure and creativity to the work I do.
